On August 1st, all Learning Paths will be deleted as we roll over to our new school year. Students must redo their assessments to reset their Learning Paths.
We understand this can be stressful for some students, so we strongly encourage parents to allow about a week or two for them to complete their assessments.
The student might need to take breaks often, it is ok to let them resume the next day.
Also, stay as positive as possible about the process. Remind your student it is only an assessment it doesn't give a full picture to who they are as a person or their other academic and intellectual strengths.
Please remember the assessments will increase and decrease in difficulty based on the student's answers and the further they are away from their grade level in the system, the longer the assessment.
If your student has special needs, test anxiety, or enrolled between May 27th-July 31st, they DO NOT have to retake the assessments. We will manually retake their assessments and then adjust their Learning Path to their lesson assigned before the reset. It might take up to 3 weeks until their Learning Paths are available.
We appreciate your patience during this time, and we recommend that you print worksheets from your Parent Portal or utilize the supplemental resources in the Hub to review skills you think need to be revisited while the student's Learning Path is down. Please feel free to reach out to our Coaching Team to help you put together a semi-offline academic plan.
If you do not want your student retaking the assessments, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org Subject line- No Assessment. Students enrolled between May 27th-July 31st do not need to send an email.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
